Canned Food Drive – Give Back Get Back!

Canned Food Drive – Give Back Get Back!

At Trilogy Wellness, we’re more than just a dispensary- we’re a part of the community, and this holiday season, we’re thrilled to give back in a meaningful way. From October until November 22, we’re hosting a canned food drive to support Howard County Community Action Council, and we invite all of you to join us in lending a helping hand to local families in need.

The holidays can be a challenging time for many in our community, and the Howard County Community Action Council works hard to make sure that every family can share a meal and feel cared for. With your support, we can help stock their shelves and spread some joy this season.

To thank you for your generosity, we’re offering 10 loyalty points for every can of food you donate. Not only will your donation directly benefit families in Howard County, but you’ll also receive loyalty points that can be redeemed at Trilogy Wellness, giving you a little extra something as a token of our appreciation. Whether you’re a longtime medical patient or a newer visitor, this drive is a perfect chance to earn points while making a positive impact.

Participating is easy! Simply bring your canned food items to Trilogy Wellness in Ellicott City and drop them off at our designated collection point. Our team will make sure that all donations are delivered to the Howard County Community Action Council in time to help families during the holiday season. Each can you bring helps, so feel free to bring a few or many—every single item makes a difference.

We’re excited to see our Trilogy Wellness family come together for this cause, and we know that with your help, we can make a real difference in our community. Thank you in advance for your support and kindness. Let’s spread holiday cheer, one can at a time!

Warm Coat Drive

This October we are hosting a Warm Coat Drive and collecting new and gently used/clean coats for Community Assistance Network (CAN). Community Assistance Network is a Baltimore County based non-profit organization that was established in 1965. Their mission is simple – to provide programs to help low-income families become self-sufficient. CAN relies on community partnerships such as our own to help sustain their mission.

This is our second time hosting a Warm Coat Drive with Community Assistance Network. Our Warm Coat Drive in 2019 was one of our most successful Community Drives at Trilogy to date – THANK YOU.

Our goal is to put AS MANY warm coats on backs as we can this winter season. What could be lurking in the back of your closet that’s out of fashion or doesn’t fit anymore? Donations are accepted at Trilogy Wellness: 9291 Baltimore National Pike Ellicott City, MD 21042 through October 31, 2021

Earn Extra Points: earn 15 xtra loyalty points per coat donated (100pts max)

GRAND PRIZE: every coat donated is an entry ticket into our raffle to win 20% off the whole month of December!

4th Annual Back to School Supply Drive!

4th Annual Back to School Supply Drive!

Back to School Supply Drive – Give Back Get Back!

Our children have been champions this past year and a half, learning to adapt to virtual learning as the world tried to figure out a new normal. They put play dates on hold, wore tiny masks, mastered the use of hand sanitizer, & adapted to learning online. As schools prepare for a fresh year, many kids are still in need of a new backpack and supplies to start off their school year.

With Covid-19 restrictions easing up, we are thrilled to be collecting new and unopened school supplies & monetary donations again for our 4th Annual Back to School Supply Drive in support of Prepare for Success Howard County and St. Francis Neighborhood Center in Baltimore.

Many of you know our big Community table in the dispensary – in fact you almost broke it on multiple occasions from an overwhelming amount of donations. Let’s do it again!

If You Donate:

5 Supplies or $5 = 25 Extra Loyalty Points

10 Supplies or $10 = 50 Extra Loyalty Points

A Cause Close to our Hearts

A Cause Close to our Hearts

This month we are partnering with the Children’s Cancer Foundation Magic Castle program that works to help children receiving radiation treatment at the University of Maryland Proton Center.

At the beginning of the child’s treatment program, they are asked to write down three wishes and on the final day of treatment, the charity helps grant one of the wishes.

The funding of the charity comes directly from the generosity of the community that surrounds it – so your donation will be used to help encourage children through a very tough time not only for them but their families as well.

We are teaming up with the University of Maryland Proton Center because they helped one of our very own, Adam. Please read his amazing story below:

“After my 30th birthday I noticed I was having vision problems and pain in my left eye. What we thought was a typical eye infection wound up being much more – in the fall of 2016,  I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was growing on my left optic nerve and my pituitary gland. The diagnosis was devastating and heartbreaking in addition to the fear of surgery and radiation treatment.

I had surgery in Oct 2016 and spent several months at home recovering before beginning radiation treatment at the UMD Proton Center. Every day I was subjected to radiation treatments for up to an hour each session. The process was terrifying and caused severe anxiety attacks. As stressful as my treatment at the Proton Center was, the staff did an amazing job at going above and beyond they can to make the patients feel as comfortable as possible.

Throughout my recovery, I was prescribed many different medications, but there was one in particular that helped me get through the most stressful of times – cannabis. Cannabis not only helped relieve pain from my conditions, but it also provided much needed relief from stress. Going through the treatments was not easy and it wasn’t for cannabis, I would not have been able to handle the stress and anxiety. Using cannabis before treatment sessions allowed my body and mind to relax through difficult and uncomfortable times. Today cannabis still helps provide me relief from chronic pain, stress and anxiety, it has also helped with sleep. Using cannabis has also helped me reduce my need for other medications such as painkillers and sleep medication. Cannabis has helped me get back on my feel an to help me enjoy life to the fullest.”

Our donation drive starts Sunday, February 16th and will run until Saturday, February 22nd. You’ll receive 10% off for any donation of $5 or more. We thank you in advance for any donation to this amazing program!
