Helping Local Communities – Easter Basket Drive!

Helping Local Communities – Easter Basket Drive!

Community Matters

We are so excited to be working with Positivity in Baltimore for the second year in a row to make Easter baskets for the local community. Can you help us make this Easter special for 100 local, underprivileged children? Here’s a little backstory for those who might be new to Trilogy Wellness:

In a pre-COVID-19 world, we took great pride in hosting a monthly community drive in support of various local organizations. However, we took a little break to ensure the safety of all parties involved. After that, we are ready to make Easter extra special for some well-deserving kids.

“We are so excited to bring back our community drives in a safe way. Our patients tell us all the time how they miss being able to come into Trilogy with donations”, stated Megan Hughes, dispensary GM

Who is Positivity in Baltimore? Positivity in Baltimore was created in 2015 by two friends (Dena and Angie) out of their love for helping the community. Above all, Positivity in Baltimore is committed to working with Maryland residents to end hunger, promote cleanliness, healthy living, advocate for affordable housing, and to provide the basic necessities for children.

How Can You Help?

We are looking for donations to help build the Easter Baskets: Candy, Bubbles, Books, Coloring Books, Crayons, Easter Baskets, Barbies, Jump Ropes, Toys, etc. Likewise, we be collecting monetary donations that will go directly towards the purchasing of these items.

In addition, to thank you for your support Trilogy Wellness will be raffling off $250 of Store Credit. Every item or dollar donated is 1 entry in the drawing. The Community Drive kicks off Saturday, February 20th and runs through February 28th. The drawing will occur on March 1st, 2021 and the winner will be notified by phone and announced via Instagram.

Trilogy Wellness Community Drives are at the heart of our small business

Trilogy Wellness Community Drives are at the heart of our small business

It’s Small Business Saturday and we wanted to take a minute to thank you so much for supporting our small business. Small businesses like ourselves truly thrive when they have the support and backing of their community. Whether you are new to the Trilogy Wellness family or have been one of our loyal patients from Day 1- we are so grateful that you chose to come along on this ride with us and give us an opportunity to care for you. When Trilogy was founded, it was important to us that the company always abide by three important pillars- Health, Wellness & Community.

We found that Health and Wellness were a given for us- helping our patients achieve an optimal quality of life is at the forefront of every interaction that we have. There is nothing that makes a Wellness Advisors day more than a patient coming back in and thanking us for recommending a product that worked for them. We have been fortunate enough to share our cannabis knowledge with the general public via free educational workshops on various cannabis topics over the years, sparking amazing conversations and a sense of social connection between our patients and staff.

The last pillar, community, is something that means something a little bit deeper to us here at Trilogy Wellness. We started our first monthly Community Drive back in September of 2018. We collected school supply donations from our amazing patients (YOU) for students in need through the Howard County Community Action Council. It was contagious- the amount of positive feedback and participation that we received from our patients was so humbling to all of us here. We knew that we had to keep the momentum going and decided to run a different community drives each month.

Over the last couple of years YOU have helped us collect coats for the homeless, toys for children less fortunate at Christmas, books for those who treasure reading, Halloween costumes for children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to dress up, canned food for the hungry (you guys actually almost broke our table with this one..), helped raise money so children with cancer can receive life-saving proton radiation treatment, donated pet food and supplies for the local animal shelters, raised over $4200 for Ellicott City flood relief efforts, and SO much more.

Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for your warm hearts and participation in helping us give back to this community. We are forever grateful to you. Stay tuned because we have some great new ideas for ways to bring back community drives safely, and they are coming your way soon. We are in a very uncertain time and now more than ever the community needs our continued commitment to do everything we can to give back.

Back to School Donation Drive benefiting the children of Howard County.

Join Trilogy Wellness to help the children of Howard County by donating to the Back to School drive supporting Prepare for Success of Howard County. Leave your donation in the collection jar inside the dispensary or tell your wellness advisor you’d like to donate during your curbside pickup.

There are more than 13,000 students in Howard County who qualify for free and reduced lunch—an indicator of poverty.  We all know that school supplies are expensive.  Having school supplies is a critical first step to help a student feel at ease, achieve higher literacy levels, improve academic performance, and graduate. Our drive will support the purchase of school supplies for children in need in Howard County. Learn more about this amazing initiative to support children in our community here.

Covid-19 may have changed the way we support our community this year but Trilogy is committed to continuing our efforts. Trilogy will support our community causes through monetary donations and creative ways to give back. Our team and our community appreciate our patients so much. Let’s come together and prepare our children for success in school this year! View our menu here and stop in today.

Updated 3/18

 Dear Valued Trilogy Patients,

We are writing to inform you that per the guidance of the Maryland

Medical Cannabis Commission regarding Covid-19, we are implementing new
procedures including social distancing
protocols and a curbside pickup option for medical cannabis.

Please be advised that you may still come into the dispensary for your product however we will have limitations on the number of patients inside the dispensary. We are enforcing social distancing practices and enacting procedures that allow people to maintain a distance of six feet from others while on our premises.

We are not allowing more than 6 patients at a time in our public lobby area and no more than 9 total people (staff + patients) at a time inside our main dispensary area. We will provide designated seating to accommodate patients to maintain a safe distance while waiting. We’ve added tape to the floor in front of the checkout stations to encourage patients to keep a safe distance from our wellness advisors and we will be sanitizing surfaces in between each transaction.

We strongly encourage online orders or phone orders (443-539-7372) for ALL orders to limit time inside the dispensary and are now offering curbside pickup service in order to support patients that may be vulnerable but need continued access to medical cannabis.

The following is the process for the Trilogy Wellness

Curbside order pick-up option:

  1.  Qualifying patients and caregivers may place their orders online via Leafly or Weedmaps or by emailing info@trilogy.health or
by calling our dispensary at 443-539-7372. To expedite your order please
provide your full name as indicated on your state-issued ID as well as your
patient ID number on the order.
  2. Please allow a minimum of 1/2 hour between the time of placing the order and arriving
at Trilogy. The last curbside pickup will be at 6 PM.
  3. Please park your car in one of the spots near the front of the dispensary by the door
    if it available.
  4. Please call 443-539-7372 upon arrival and state that you are here for Curbside pickup
and provide your name, make and model of your car and patient ID.
  5. A wellness advisor will prepare your order and bring it to your vehicle.
Please be prepared to show your MMCC ID and have payment ready.

*Please note that you must be inside your vehicle and show your state-issued ID
in order to receive your order. Please also have your MMCC ID number ready when
    you arrive.

*Please be aware that this process has just been implemented and that wait
times may be longer than entering the dispensary.  Please be patient with
us as we work out any kinks in the process to serve you best in the coming
    days.

Again, we want to reiterate that we are following all Good  Manufacturing Processes regarding the handling of products as well as following all CDC guidelines regarding sanitization and we appreciate your patients as you may experience longer wait times than usual. We are doing everything
possible to allow for continued access to medical cannabis and ensuring the
 and dedication to Trilogy Wellness
We are here for you.

 Thank you,

A Cause Close to our Hearts

A Cause Close to our Hearts

This month we are partnering with the Children’s Cancer Foundation Magic Castle program that works to help children receiving radiation treatment at the University of Maryland Proton Center.

At the beginning of the child’s treatment program, they are asked to write down three wishes and on the final day of treatment, the charity helps grant one of the wishes.

The funding of the charity comes directly from the generosity of the community that surrounds it – so your donation will be used to help encourage children through a very tough time not only for them but their families as well.

We are teaming up with the University of Maryland Proton Center because they helped one of our very own, Adam. Please read his amazing story below:

“After my 30th birthday I noticed I was having vision problems and pain in my left eye. What we thought was a typical eye infection wound up being much more – in the fall of 2016,  I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was growing on my left optic nerve and my pituitary gland. The diagnosis was devastating and heartbreaking in addition to the fear of surgery and radiation treatment.

I had surgery in Oct 2016 and spent several months at home recovering before beginning radiation treatment at the UMD Proton Center. Every day I was subjected to radiation treatments for up to an hour each session. The process was terrifying and caused severe anxiety attacks. As stressful as my treatment at the Proton Center was, the staff did an amazing job at going above and beyond they can to make the patients feel as comfortable as possible.

Throughout my recovery, I was prescribed many different medications, but there was one in particular that helped me get through the most stressful of times – cannabis. Cannabis not only helped relieve pain from my conditions, but it also provided much needed relief from stress. Going through the treatments was not easy and it wasn’t for cannabis, I would not have been able to handle the stress and anxiety. Using cannabis before treatment sessions allowed my body and mind to relax through difficult and uncomfortable times. Today cannabis still helps provide me relief from chronic pain, stress and anxiety, it has also helped with sleep. Using cannabis has also helped me reduce my need for other medications such as painkillers and sleep medication. Cannabis has helped me get back on my feel an to help me enjoy life to the fullest.”

Our donation drive starts Sunday, February 16th and will run until Saturday, February 22nd. You’ll receive 10% off for any donation of $5 or more. We thank you in advance for any donation to this amazing program!
